Volunteers of America of the Carolinas is one of largest providers of non-profit, affordable housing in North and South Carolina. Housing offered includes transitional and permanent living for the elderly, physically and mentally disabled, economically disadvantaged families and individuals, and women and children homeless as a result of fleeing domestic violence. In addition, we manage Children's Garden, a childcare center for the children of homeless and needy families in Columbia, and Turning Pages, a literacy program serving the Columbia, SC metro area.
